On the second weekend of February, Luca Sigg and Marc Werder organize a wine tasting weekend at Khao Yai. We look forward to welcome many participants from Friday, 8th February till Sunday, 10th February 2019.
Around noon we leave Bangkok with one or more Private Vans towards Khao Yai, also in February a popular destination for Thais and Farangs.
Our first stop will be at André Grabers residence, he invites us for Apero in his home. Then we will visit the first wine yard.

We do a wine tasting with the sommelier and will enjoy our dinner. We will be able to listen to a concert before we drive back to the hotel.
After breakfast on Saturday morning, we will drive to the 8 kilometers from the PB Valley located winery GranMonte Estate in the Asoke Valley.
It was founded in 1999 by the Lohitnavy couple, and since the beginning of 2009, this wine merchant has been producing around 120,000 bottles per year on 100 Rai of grapes. http://www.granmonte.com/index.html
We spend the whole day in this beautiful valley where the annual and famous "Harvest Festival" takes place. There are various activities around the crops, competitions, snacks, wines and other drinks as well as a dinner party and a mini concert late at night. We will driven back to the hotel after the end of the event.

After lunch in an "Italian" we drive back to Bangkok.
We will spend beautiful hours and try tasty wines together. We plan to have all participants located in the same first class hotel. The total cost of the private van seating, the two wine tasting programs including dinner, as well as additional, scheduled inquiries plus overnight accommodation in a double room will be around 12,000 baht max.
Khao Yai is a popular spot in February. We therefore ask you to register by Wednesday, 16 January and to pay a deposit of 8'000 Baht. We will send out a personal email to you with the details for payment. In case of a cancellation, we must negotiate with the hotel to what extent a refund is possible. The remaining amount according our final planning and booking all participants can be paid in cash on the day of departure.
We will send the definitive program to all registered participants by the end of January.
