Membership information

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Swiss Society Bangkok, we have options available for both Swiss citizens and non-Swiss individuals. Join our vibrant community and enjoy the benefits of being part of our society, including access to events, networking opportunities, and a online member area. Who can become a member?

Any person of legal age holding Swiss citizenship and his/her spouse shall be eligible for membership with full voting rights as an Ordinary Member. 

Any non-Swiss of legal age, shall be eligible for membership without voting rights as an Associate Member. A candidate for Associate Membership shall be nominated and seconded by two different Ordinary or Honorary Members, and shall be proposed for acceptance at the next meeting of the Committee.

What are the membership types and its cost?

We have the following two membership types

Single membership (1 Person) Single Member 1500.- THB (yearly)  plus one time registration Fee 200.-  Total 1700.- THB

Family membership  (2 partners plus their children) 2500.-  THB (yearly)  plus one time registration Fee 400.-  Total 2900.- THB

How to become a member now?

To become a member, please fill in the following form with your personal details and send us your payment receipt to treasurer@ssb.or.th with the remark "Membership fee, year and your name".  As soon as the registration is complete and your membership fee has been received, we will create your personcal member account and from on this point you will receive invitations to our events as well as a welcome mail with information on the exclusive online member area.

Please keep in mind that due to e-banking processes in Thailand, some banks may not provide us with all the necessary information to identify your payment. If we cannot identify your payment, you will receive a payment reminder. To avoid any confusion, it is crucial that you send us the deposit slip (scanned or photo) to treasurer@ssb.or.th with the remark "Membership fee, year, and your name." This will ensure that we can accurately allocate your payment.
